UK Annual Investment Summit on opportunities from the paradigm shift
This week, we had the pleasure to host our UK Annual Investment Summit at the Hotel Café Royal in London. Joined by our local clients and investment partners, we explored the theme of “Opportunities from the paradigm shift”, and discussed the impact of the changing investment landscape on portfolios.
Program including break-out sessions and panel discussions
Pius Fritschi, a Managing Partner at LGT CP, delivered the opening remarks on the paradigm shift, followed by a macro-economic outlook by Atul Lele, a Portfolio Strategist at Bridgewater. Later on, Stephan Kind and Raimund Seeholzer, Partners at LGT CP, presented their insights from the LGT Endowment and their current strategic asset allocation. Ivan Vercoutère, a Managing Partner at LGT CP, shared our perspectives on the future of the private equity business, while Thomas Kyriakoudis and Matthew Gordon Clark, Partners at LGT CP, talked about opportunities in private credit.
Furthermore, we held break-out sessions on secondaries, impact opportunities in private markets and evergreen investment solutions, as well as a panel discussion on diversifying strategies such as hedge funds, insurance-linked strategies and emerging and frontier market sovereign debt.
The summit was concluded by a keynote fireside conversation with David Atkin, CEO of the Principles for Responsible Investment, on investing with outcomes, and final remarks by Roberto Paganoni, CEO of LGT Capital Partners. The reception in the evening was joined by Prince Max von und zu Liechtenstein, Chairman of LGT CP.
